In the last couple of years with the huge increase in the price of gold there have been a plethora of gold buying websites spring up, many of whom have attracted bad press due to the incredibly low offers they make for customers old gold, silver or platinum jewellery.

We still wonder why people are still sending their old gold or scrap jewellery to these types of sites, some of who have PO Boxes as their mailing address and do not welcome personal callers.

As established gold dealers and jewellers of 30 years standing we have always welcomed personal callers to either our South Woodford branch or our Waltham Cross branch and indeed have many customers who have travelled even from Manchester to see us, our reputation ensuring they achieve the highest price for their unwanted gold jewellery.
